In 2003 Mike Wilson joined McKechnie Aerospace Aftermarket Group as Vice President of Global sales and within three years was named President of Aero Quality sales.  Mike brings almost 30 years of aerospace experience to the team, starting his career in 1976 as a graduate apprentice with the Dowty Group where he achieved a first class degree in aeronautical engineering at Bristol University and subsequently in the product support department specializing in hydraulic, landing gear and propeller systems.  In addition, Mike was with Air New Zealand engineering where he worked initially as a Product support engineer on Dart, JT8D, RB211 and CF6 engines and progressed onto B747, F27 and B737 airframes, he then moved into the commercial department selling the engineering services of the airline.  After leaving Air New Zealand he joined FLS Aerospace as a sales Director selling all the support and maintenance services the company offered to airlines through out the world. After a number of successful years doing this he joined GE Engine services based in Europe.
