As Vice President and General Counsel of McKechnie Aerospace, Michael Manella has responsibility for directing all aspects of legal affairs for the multinational, aviation & aerospace focused organization. Prior to joining McKechnie Aerospace, Mr. Manella was Assistant General Counsel for Meggitt-USA, Inc. He was named to that position in 2007 as a result of Meggitt-USA’s acquisition of K&F Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of aircraft wheels, brakes, brake control systems and fuel tanks. At the time of that acquisition, Mr. Manella was General Counsel of K&F Industries Inc.’s largest subsidiary, Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation, a position he held for the previous eight years. In addition, Mr. Manella also held various managerial positions with Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation. In total, he brings over 25 years experience to the McKechnie Leadership Team. Mr. Manella holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Akron, an MBA in finance from Kent State University and a JD from the University of Akron School of Law. Additionally Mr. Manella completed the executive management program at the University of Oxford, Said Business School.
